As part of these efforts, Suryabharathy Medicals, established at Kolangattukara, has been providing free medical consultations along with medicines at subsidized rates to the local population.
Further extending its healthcare outreach, the Foundation, in collaboration with Suryabharathy Medicals, has launched a Free Medicine Distribution Programme for senior citizens aged 70 years and above in Avanoor Panchayat.

Further extending its healthcare outreach, the Foundation, in collaboration with Suryabharathy Medicals, has launched a Free Medicine Distribution Programme for senior citizens aged 70 years and above in Avanoor Panchayat.
The programme was formally inaugurated on 1 May 2026 at Kolangattukara by Dr. R. Bindu, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education and Social Justice. The ചടങ്ങ് was presided over by Mr. K. P. Manoj Kumar, Managing Director and Chairman of the Suryabharathy Group.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives of local self-government bodies, senior officials and staff of the Suryabharathy Group, as well as members of the community. On the occasion, the Hon’ble Minister, along with other distinguished dignitaries, distributed free medicines to the beneficiaries.
This initiative underscores the Foundation’s steadfast commitment to ensuring accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare, particularly for the elderly, thereby contributing to the overall well-being of society.
