Thiruvananthapuram: As part of the 2026 Onam Week celebrations organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala, Mangalam TV presented ‘Shravana Sandhya 2026’ at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on August 27.
Mangalam TV is the sister concern of Mangalam Daily and marks the group’s presence in the visual media space. The grand event brought together culture, music and the festive spirit of Onam on one spectacular stage.
The evening began with a cultural conference attended by prominent personalities from public life, culture, media and entertainment. Tourism and Cultural Minister P. C. Vishnunath was present at the gathering along with K. P. Manojkumar, Chairman of Suryabharathy Group, Shajan Varghese, Managing Editor of Mangalam, renowned actor and dancer Lakshmi Gopalaswami, Jayachandran, CEO of Mangalam, and Pratheesh, Vice President of Mangalam.
The cultural conference was followed by the much-awaited mega musical show featuring Vineeth Sreenivasan. Known for his distinctive musical style and popular repertoire, Vineeth brought the venue alive with a vibrant performance that perfectly matched the festive mood of the evening.
The show drew an exceptionally large crowd. The Central Stadium was packed with people from different walks of life who had gathered to celebrate Onam through music and entertainment. The scale of the gathering made the evening one of the most remarkable public celebrations witnessed in the capital in recent times.
